Juniper Networks secure flight cases with inotec’s Diosecure label

Juniper Networks has recently decided to put inotec’s safety and anti-theft Diosecure label on their flight cases. These flight cases often contain many different valuable parts. If one or more of these parts goes missing during transportation this is not typically noticed immediately upon acceptation by Junipers customers.

Case description

Claims made by customers regarding incomplete shipments days and sometimes weeks after receiving their flight cases can be very hard to verify. Using the Diosecure label should alleviate that problem as any opening of the case, or an attempt to do so immediately leads to a broken seal / label. Revealing the also pre-printed material, containing an ID and instructions for the recipient, that leads to u immediate discovery of any infraction of the case during transportation. Thus - hopefully - both reducing the number of infractions as well as the time needed to discover any problems with shipments by customers of Juniper Networks.

The label

Diosecure is the next generation in tamper evident security labelling. Both the face and reverse of the label can be printed digitally in colour, with sequential information – even Pictures, Barcodes, QR Codes and serial numbers. When the face is removed, a custom-made imprint is left on the surface to show evidence of tampering or even to offer proof of originality.

On Juniper Networks

Networks are becoming more relevant in the world we live in today, and at Juniper Networks we believe the network can create a connected planet that unleashes a great wealth of possibility, innovation, and discovery that cannot be measured.
But the demands on the network are changing rapidly and require a new approach.

Cloud computing and the mobile Internet are two macro trends driving an exponential increase in traffic volume, new services, and new subscribers around the world. These trends will define the next decade, with broad implications for the technology industry, and for network innovation in particular. In the face of this increased demand, legacy approaches to networking are proving unsustainable. They are too costly, too complex, and simply cannot scale.
At Juniper Networks, we are leading the charge to architecting the new network. At the heart of the new network is our promise to transform the economics and experience of networking for our customers. We offer a high-performance network infrastructure built on simplicity, security, openness, and scale. We are innovating in ways that empower our customers, our partners, and ultimately everyone in a connected world.
Our products and technologies run the world’s largest and most demanding networks today, enabling our customers to create value and accelerate business success within the new, rapidly changing global marketplace. Our customers include the top 130 global service providers, 96 of the Global Fortune 100, as well as hundreds of federal, state and local government agencies and higher education organizations throughout the world.
As a pure play, high-performance networking company, we offer a broad product portfolio that spans routing, switching, security, application acceleration, identity policy and control, and management designed to provide unmatched performance, greater choice, and true flexibility, while reducing overall total cost of ownership. Juniper Networks has developed and productized some of the industry’s most ground breaking, disruptive innovations across every aspect of networking technology. They include a dedication to developing new, pure play IP solutions based on a unique single architecture, a single operating system, and a single software release train that ensures performance, reliability, and security at the scale that customers demand of their networks—without compromise.
Our core competencies in hardware systems, silicon design, network architecture, and our open cross-network software platform are helping to propel the new network.
